Grab the supplies to wash your car You’ll need a bucket, soap and a sponge or rag. Spray the car’s windshield with a garden hose. Then, use the warm, soapy water from the bucket on the windshield. Using a circular motion, scrub every inch of the window. If you need to attack pesky bug residue that isn’t coming off, use the rag to scrub the area with a back-and-forth motion and a lot of elbow grease. Keep these supplies at-the-ready for the next steps.2. Next up, bug-removal spray After you’ve read the product’s directions, spray the area where the bugs remain and let it soak. Then, rinse it off.3. Alternatives to sprays If you prefer not to use chemical products, try one of these alternative methods. Make a baking soda paste.
